Positive
Last September, we went to Beijing with friends to a long awaited vacation. Scaled the Great Wall, went around Tiananmen, Forbiden City, Temple of Heaven & Summer Palace...the usual touristy things to do. On our last day, I peed on a stick and saw a very faint, almost nothing second line.
I asked my husband if he is seeing double as well or it was just an image of my imagination. Seems like it's a positive, but we both cant guarantee for sure because it was almost non existent.
Unlike other people who cry or jump for joy, we both didn't. After months of seeing just 1 line, didn't know how to react to the second line or maybe both husband and I were still slowly grasping that it really was positive.
Previous months of fertility treatments, from Clomid doses & Femara doses that I was resistant to to Puregon shots that didn't work...the doctor was right and it was really all a matter of dosage. The GonalF shots were the ones that seem to work, but as the doctor said, everything works best with prayers.
We took all chances to pray for a baby - at Baclaran, at Lourdes, at Notre Dame, and finally our last stop was the Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral in Dauis, Bohol. It was the first time that I saw a Mama Mary image that was pregnant and the locals said that the church and the water that runs under it are miraculous.
So here we are with the most exciting news of our lives!!! We finally did it!
This baby will give us an adventure that we waited so long to have :)
